Peep Sight For A Winchester Model 94

Q

I have an old Winchester Model 94 lever-action .30-30 which is top-eject not angle-eject. This makes it awkward to fit a scope so I am looking for a receiver mounted peep sight which provides a ghost ring sight picture. The receiver is drilled and tapped making it easy to attach such a sight. What makes are available?

ALyman tang and receiver peep sights are available through your local gunshop from the importer, Nioa. Order LKY-66A Lyman Receiver Sight Win. 94 Pre Angle-Eject. These sights are very well made and can be easily adjusted for sighting in. I like to keep the small diameter disk in place for target shooting and remove it when I go hunting. The ghost ring is not quite as precise, but a lot faster, especially in poor light. Receiver sights sometimes require a higher front sight, but your Model 94 probably doesn’t.
