It appears as though the bureaucracy are taking things into their own hands, and trying to pre-empt the way the ammunition control laws should be operated. The SFP is calling on you to help stop them.
From 4 March it will become harder to buy a firearm and ammunition in NSW as a new ammunition control law comes into effect, forcing a new burden of bureaucracy on shooters and dealers.

Factually incorrect and misleading statements made by the AWU do not do anything but cloud the true situation and real debate on the issue, the Game Council says.
The NSW Game Council says the GetUp! anti-hunting ad does nothing to further the debate on hunting in National Parks and can be added to the piles of misinformation that have characterised media attention on this issue.

The Sun Herald may this week run an anti-hunting ad that makes blatantly false claims and shows a hunter aiming dangerously towards a family of bushwalkers.
