Editor, Marcus O’Dean and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Clayton Firearms based in Clayton, Victoria on the outskirts of Melbourne who also distribute Sauer Firearms which are made in Germany. Run by father/son team Greg and Craig Meuleman, together with staff, their impressive shop not only features a large selection of firearms and accessories, but also an impressive selection of big game trophies, many of which they have taken themselves over the years.
Also on display was the full range of Sauer bolt action rifles in Timber and synthetic. While their timber stocks vary in grade, their Synthetics are available in black or camo. Interchangeable barrels are also a plus for the S202 Wheather it’s the standard “Classic” or “Take Down” model, interchangeable barrels are a plus for the S202. Marcus and I were impressed with their firearms, display and friendly service. If you are in the area, why not call in for a look.
