Just a reminder to all you fox and dog hunters in Victoria that the last scheduled collection days for fox and wild dog scalps in 2014 are coming up this month (October). After these collection days there are no more scheduled collections until next year, so if you want your Christmas cash then look up the dates and put them in your phone or diary. Also, in case it slipped your mind, the Victorian state election is coming up in November. That of course brings the possibility of a change of government, and with that the possibility of the bounty system being abandoned. I’ve no idea whether that is going to happen or not, so don’t quote me, but it’s an added reason to dig those scalps out of the freezer and turn them into money – not to mention all the excuse you need to get out and whack some red dogs while the going’s good.
