The Ruger Precision Rifle is now available here in Australia, however, at the time of writing, only available in certain states. Its folding stock design is still a problem in some states but I’m told it has been officially cleared for import as a Cat. B firearm in Queensland, South Australia and Victoria.
The Ruger Precision Rifle is a highly configurable, in-line recoil path bolt-action rifle. It is available in .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor and .243 Win. This new firearm for the Aussie market offers outstanding accuracy and long-range capability at a price that’s hard to beat. Its in-line recoil path manages recoil directly from the rear of the receiver to the buttstock and not through a traditional bedding system and providing maximum accuracy potential.
