Tony Pizzata and I took time out to catch up with Mick Benson and his staff at Benson Archery in Sydney’s Western Suburbs. It looked to us to have just about everything a beginner to a pro bowhunter or target bowman would want or need. The staff are experienced and knowledgeable and can do a custom setup on your bow or do maintenance and repairs to a very high standard.
What is also interesting is that Benson’s now has a growing stock of ammunition and other rifle shooting and hunting accessories – and it’s reasonably priced too. Benson Archery is also set up to conduct firearm safety awareness tests and R-Licence testing for public land hunting and licensing of deer hunters. So if you shoot and bowhunt, it’s a one stop shop.
